The [b]PebbleGo Creation Tool[/b] allows educators and students to create, organize, and share projects using PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next content. This guide provides an overview of the Creation Tool’s core features and dashboard to help new users get started.
[b]Note:[/b] The Creation Tool is included in the [url=https://www.pebblego.com/pricing]PebbleGo Premier[/url] package and requires Clever, ClassLink, or Google Classroom integration.
@h5 Step 1: Access the Creation Tool
Once signed in to your PebbleGo account, select the [b]Create[/b] tile from the PebbleGo homepage.

* If you do not see the Create tile, your school may not subscribe to [b]PebbleGo Premier[/b].
* Selecting Create opens the Creation Tool landing page, where you can click [b]New Project[/b] to start a new canvas from scratch or click [b]My Projects[/b] to view existing work in the user dashboard.
@h5 Step 2: Creating and Managing Projects
Selecting [b]New Project[/b] opens the project creation workspace. This is where users build projects from scratch using a variety of customizable tools and media options.

+ New Projects
Within a new project, users can:
* Rename the project
* Add multiple pages
* Resize the project canvas
* Choose a background color or import a background image
Pre-designed background templates are available, including:
* Graphic organizers
* KWL charts
* “All About Me” templates and more!

Users may also upload their own background images.
[b]Search and Media Tools[/b]
The Creation Tool includes keyword and visual search options, allowing users to find relevant images and media directly within the editor.

Available tools include:
* Animations, stickers, and emojis
* Drawing tools and shapes
* Text boxes
* Uploads: Image, document, and pre-recorded videos
* Camera access to take photos
* QR code generator
These tools allow students and educators to create visually engaging projects that support research, reflection, and presentation.

+ My Projects Dashboard
Selecting [b]My Projects[/b] from the PebbleGo homepage opens the Creation Tool dashboard. Teachers may also access this view by selecting [b]Class Projects[/b] from the PebbleGo homepage.

The dashboard includes three main tabs: [b]Projects[/b], [b]Classes[/b], and [b]Boards[/b].

+ Projects
The Projects tab displays all projects associated with the user.

From this tab, users can:
* Create a new project
* Edit previously created projects
* View projects shared with them by others
[b]Resources (Educators Only)[/b]
Educators also have access to a Resources section within the Projects tab. This includes a library of ready-to-use choice boards that can be assigned or adapted for classroom use.
+ Classes
The Classes tab is where Educators manage student classes and view student work.

[b]Class Setup Options[/b]
* Classes automatically sync for schools using Clever or ClassLink
* Educators without classes can create classes manually and invite students using a class code
* Educators using Google Classroom can manually sync their classes from this page
[b]Class View[/b]
Within each class, educators can:
* View enrolled students
* See all projects created by students in that class

+ Boards
The Boards tab allows educators to organize projects by lesson, assignment, or theme.

Boards can be used to:
* Collect student projects for a specific assignment
* Organize work by topic (e.g., “Animal Habitats”)
* Share projects in one centralized location
Boards may be:
* Shared with students or other educators
* Set to allow viewing and commenting
Additional options include:
* Shared With Me boards (boards shared by others)
* The ability to subscribe to boards for ongoing access

@h5 Step 3: Sharing a Project or Board
Projects and Boards can be shared in multiple ways to support classroom or library instruction, collaboration, and family engagement. Sharing options allow educators to make content available to students, colleagues, or parents, depending on how and where the content is shared.

+ Sharing Projects
Projects can be shared in several ways using the [b]Share[/b] button in the upper-right corner of the project editor.
@h6 Share a Project with Students
Educators can share projects directly with students by selecting:
* [b]Share with Create Users[/b] from their classes
When projects are shared this way, they will appear for students in their [b]Shared with Me[/b] tab.

Projects can also be shared to a board by selecting:
* Share to Boards > Entering the board code
This allows the project to be organized alongside related work for a lesson or assignment.

Projects can be shared outside of classes or boards by:
* Copying the project URL from the browser
* Downloading the project as a PDF
When sharing a project link, educators can adjust sharing settings to control:
* Who can view the project (yourself, specific users, district-only, or anyone with the link)
* Whether comments are enabled
* Whether the project can be copied

Projects may also include a QR code. Scanning the QR code provides access to view the project.
+ Sharing Boards
Boards can be shared to organize and collect projects by lesson, assignment, or theme.

Boards can be shared directly with students by:
* Selecting the Share button on the board
* Choosing a classroom
* Selecting one or more students
When shared this way, boards appear in the student [b]Shared with Me[/b] section of the Boards tab.

Boards can also be shared with parents, educators, or the wider community by:
* Copying the board URL
* Sharing via a QR code
* Sharing to social platforms (if enabled)
Sharing settings allow educators to control how others view and interact with the board.
