Eight new Capstone-Curated Collections are now available in PebbleGo Educator Tools, and we can’t wait for you to dive in! Each collection brings together curated articles, eBooks, and, in many cases, ready-to-use activity bundles and lesson plans. Whether you’re long-term planning, supporting small-group instruction, or tracking individual intervention progress, these collections help you move from exploration to application without adding extra prep time. @h6 This Month's Collections This month’s collections explore engaging, curriculum-aligned topics like Civil Rights, Fables and Fairy Tales, Food Chains and Webs, Forces and Motion, Life Cycles, Spring Holidays, and Spring Weather. With options for K-2 and 3-5 learners, these collections are designed to build background knowledge, deepen discussion, and strengthen literacy across subject areas. @h6 Tap Into Forces and Motion The Forces and Motion collection (K-2) helps bring science concepts to life with activity plans focused on push and pull, motion, gravity, friction, and magnetism. Each lesson includes a curated PebbleGo article along with downloadable and printable resources to support hands-on learning. Each activity is designed to take about 90 minutes, but lessons can easily be broken into shorter sessions to fit your class schedule. The collection supports both structured science instruction and flexible pacing for busy classrooms. Forces and Motion in Action * After learning about friction, students can use the Friction T-chart to write or illustrate examples of things that increase or decrease friction. * In small groups, students can read about magnetism and brainstorm where they see magnets in everyday life and why magnets are useful, using the Useful Magnets T-chart to capture their thinking. * Students can explore gravity and then use the downloadable Gravity web to organize and share what they’ve learned. These activities help build science understanding while strengthening reading, writing, and discussion skills. @image /content/dam/pebblegodev/blog/march-collections.png Collection thumbnails on a tablet with a magnifying glass and a four leaf clover @h6 How to Implement Fables and Fairy Tales The Fables and Fairy Tales collection (K-2 and 3-5) sparks creativity and engagement through classic stories with well-known characters and meaningful morals. The collection includes titles like The Boy Who Cried Wolf by Blake Hoena, Beauty and the Beast (Plus Jake) by Jasmine Walls, and Not-So-Sleeping Beauty by Katie Schenkel. Ideas for Educators: * Lead a guided lesson using the auto-play option to read Not-So-Sleeping Beauty, then discuss themes such as being assertive and compare key differences between this version and the traditional tale. * After reading Beauty and the Beast (Plus Jake), students can use the Creation tool to share the lessons learned in the story and describe how Jake’s advice changes the Beast. These activities support comprehension, theme analysis, and student voice through creative response. @h6 What's Next Enjoying these collections? You’re in luck! New Educator Tools collections will continue to be released each month from now until May to support timely topics and classroom needs.
