Students are growing up in a world where artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life. For elementary educators, that creates both an opportunity and a challenge: how do you introduce AI in ways that are safe, developmentally appropriate, and connected to classroom learning? Ask PebbleGo was designed to help answer that question.
@h6 What is Ask PebbleGo?
Ask PebbleGo is an AI-powered inquiry tool that supports safe, curriculum-connected learning by helping students ask questions, find trusted answers from PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next, and build research and AI literacy skills.
Included with PebbleGo Premier, Ask PebbleGo makes it easy for students to ask questions and begin researching topics that interest them.

@h6 Built on the Content You Already Trust
Unlike open AI tools that search across the internet, Ask PebbleGo generates responses using only the trusted content found in PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next articles. Every response includes one or more cited source articles, making it easy for students to verify information, continue reading, and practice evaluating AI generated content alongside human written articles.
Whether students are wondering:
* Who invented airplanes?
* Why do leaves change color?
* Where do koalas live?
Ask PebbleGo helps them find answers quickly while encouraging them to dig deeper into the original articles.

@h6 Supporting Inquiry and AI Literacy
Ask PebbleGo was intentionally designed for elementary learners.
Students can:
* Ask questions by typing or using the built-in microphone.
* Receive age-appropriate answers generated from PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next articles.
* Listen to answers read aloud.
* Open the cited source article to learn more and verify the response.
* Build research skills by asking better questions and checking sources.
Because every response points students back to trusted content, Ask PebbleGo naturally reinforces one of the most important AI literacy lessons: AI can help us find information, but we should always verify what it tells us.
To support classroom implementation, Ask PebbleGo also includes a free Educator Guide with lesson ideas and activities aligned to the AI Literacy Framework. If you're ready to get started, explore the Ask PebbleGo Quickstart Guide for a quick overview of the tool and its key features. Together, these resources help teachers introduce AI in age appropriate ways while reinforcing research, critical thinking, and source evaluation skills.
