How to search in PebbleGo

With PebbleGo, there are two simple ways your students can search for an article:

  • Guided keyword search
  • Large, visual search

Check out this page to learn more about searching in PebbleGo.

How to search in Capstone Interactive

Visual Search

The most popular option for students browsing your school's Capstone Interactive eBook collection, Visual Search allows them to find books by selecting categories, each accompanied by helpful, colorful images to make finding the right book a snap.

Sort options

The Bookshelf can be sorted by Popular, Newest, and Title. These can be used with the filters in the Filter menu as well as Visual Search categories. Use the View All Books button to revert back to the default sort.

  • Popular: sorts the Bookshelf starting with the Building’s most-read titles
  • Newest: sorts the Bookshelf starting with the most recently purchased titles
  • Title (default sort): sorts the Bookshelf A to Z by title

Default view for filters

When your students accesses Capstone Interactive, the Filter menu will already be opened on the left sidebar.

Multi-select filtering

Multiple filters can be selected at once to create custom searches. For example, clicking Grade Range PreK-2 and Guided Reading Level A-D will refresh the bookshelf to show results from both of those ranges. Use the View All Books button to clear filters.

Language filtering

Along with multi-selecting range filters, the language filter checkboxes can also be added as additional criteria for searches with the Filter menu, text searching, and Visual Search categories. Note: the language must be selected first when combining Visual Search with language options.

Text search layering

Enter search terms in the search box to search, and then select one or more filters from the menu to further refine your search. Note: the text search must be entered first when combining text and filters.
